More than 1.2 million people in the Netherlands experience a skin condition, ranging from temporary discomfort to chronic challenges. These conditions can be accompanied by itching, pain, and even feelings of shame because of 'different' looking skin. The impact of a skin condition reaches far, affecting not only how you feel but also how you are perceived.

We are able to pursue our mission thanks to support from our donors and sponsors. We work closely with the skin experts of the NVDV (the Dutch association of dermatologists). We also cooperate as much as possible with patient associations. That way, we know we are focusing on urgent problems and effective solutions.
